Each Truest candle is handcrafted with utmost care and attention to detail. The wick is sturdy and long-lasting, made from a combination of cotton and paper. We use a blend of coconut wax and vegetable wax because it delivers the best candle experience.
Truest candles protect your health because our wax burns a clean flame, sans any soot particles. Coconut wax also burns 50% longer than paraffin or soy wax. It lights at a lower temperature so it doesn’t make your room too warm. Furthermore, it is completely biodegradable, which makes cleaning wax spills much easier. The estimated burning time for each candle is 60 hours.
We also help reduce the world’s carbon emissions by avoiding the use of paraffin wax, as it is a byproduct of petroleum. As we know, the petroleum industry is one of the major sources of man-made global warming. On the other hand, coconut wax comes from the coconut fruit, which is harvested from one of the most sustainably grown trees.
Warning: Always burn a candle within sight. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn a candle on or near anything that may be flammable.
Always place a lit candle on a fireproof surface or holder. Keep away from drafts.
Candle burning and care tips
When burning this candle for the first time, do so for 3 1/2 hours, continuously. This will prevent tunneling and will help the wick burn more efficiently.
Trim the wick down to 1/4 inch before future lightings.
Avoid exposing the candle to extreme temperatures. Do not store in the freezer or leave in a hot room or vehicle, as this will affect its physical appearance and burning quality.
If you have a wick dipper, use it to extinguish the candle into the melted wax pool. Straighten the wick as soon as the flame is extinguished. This will help extend the candle’s scent in your room.
To clean wax spills, simply use warm water and soap to scrub off surfaces.
